I think the potion sound effect is simply grating, regardless of the volume :D

I like the sound effects, but when the voices are the right volume, the sound effects are too loud! You must normalize! :)

Funny, I just bought the Leisuresuit Larry collection on ebay and installed it on my phone. I would much prefer if Al were making a new game, even without a fancy license. I'd pitch in a bit for that, but I don't even like the VGA remakes of those classics, I certainly don't want to see another remake now lol it probably wouldn't even run on my phone!

The Mutant League sports games for the Genesis had permanent death. It was a cool feature, because you would have to learn to manage your roster during the season so that all of your good players wouldn't be dead by the end of the season. Was also fun to win a game by making your opponent forfeit by killing off most of their team :D

Thanks. Someone pointed out Groundchuck a while ago to me. Then the Elephants came out and more dots were connected.

I have to agree on the backstory. As much as I like Gothitropolis, it makes me a little sad we are moving forward with more Gothitropolis items and not 7th Kingdom stuff.

you know, i had never made the comparison before, you're side by sides speak volumes. you're brain must be very wrinkly. it also makes a tad sad that we haven't seen the 7th kingdom backstory get picked up and expanded upon nearly as much as the turtle tale... cuz the groundwork is there for stories as rich and convoluted as anything martin or herbert did/are doing.

With regards to your comments about different colour pills reacting differently, research into the placebo effect has shown that it has a greater effect with certain colours, so while it's not part of the actual medical effect, there is an actual difference based solely on the colour, as the placebo effect, while created by the mind, can have measurable effects.
